Awesome! How do you like Mate? I am pleased with it but you know I mainly use Fluxbox.

I like it

It's the most familar DE to me and there are lots of themeing options available since it's a fork of Gnome2.

I really like fluxbox but it's more work for me. I don't like work.

I think the first time I used it was in Linux Mint 9. I probably still have some screens of it and Salix fluxbox from a couple years ago.

I actually remember your Salix screenshots because I think I was using it too at the time. I know what you mean about more work though. I like it because I'm familiar with it and the transparency thing. It seems all of the compositors slow down my computer so I prefer not to use them. I think Mate with Fluxbox is the best combination for me. Openbox is nice too but talk about work lol, at least it seems that way to me.
